She sees
Him
Every Where
A dark hole
Hunched
In the back
Of the room
She wants
To fill him
With light
He wants
To fill her
With Him.
She walks— feet bare
-moist earth-
in a dark open field— set against
or nestled within— a temple of treeforest
Wolves surround and she is smiling as she sways and flows across the open plain
her hair— long and dark as the wind wraps and frames her moonlit face
as she— looks back—
She stops
arms out
and the wolves
One by one—
and simultaneously
dive openmouthed into her smiling flesh
She is
bleeding
In the Dark.
we are swinging
out of sync
from this oak tree
i have fallen
its you who jumps on top of me
and you crush me
in to tiny shards of
me
and you stomp me
leave bloody feet prints
in the sand
i am immortal
i rise to rise again
-my friend-
can i take this red ball
and slam it through your face?
and make all better
just to lay you
on the cool grass
of our play ground
tap you gently
in to place
and stand above you
in my skirt
and look away
look eye contact
shiny black leather
three inch spiked heel—as it breaks you
crush your lung
to pierce your heart
aflaming arrow poison dart
and flames consume you
leaving tiny bits of ash
i collect in to a jar
i will keep it by the bed—
i will take it down instead
and grab my pail
take you sand
build my castle
and i am high
tidal wave will crash
i’ll make All better
just to lay you
slip and slide
its our play ground
tiny sandbox
tap you gently
in to place
and stand above you
in my skirt
and look away… in my skirt
and look away… i will kiss you
in my skirt
and look away… i will break you
in my skirt
and look away… and look
eye
contact.
